Church & Dwight Sales Down Slightly at 0.9%

Church & Dwight Co Inc., maker of Arm & Hammer baking soda and deodorant, said second quarter profit rose 31% on due to cost cuts as it integrated two acquisitions and raised its full-year earnings estimate.The company posted profit of $24.6 million, compared with $18.7 million a year earlier.
